Gardening 101

So, with gardening apparently comes birds. They were pecking at our newly sprouting corn, so Scott used his ingenuity and our old CD's and made a CD Scarecrow...seemed to keep the little corn peckers away for the meantime

We have a couple mini-herb gardens growing in our bay window over the kitchen sink, so we can have some seasonings and even some salsa...

and today, Scott found our first herb sprouts!
